Inequality

Steven Rattner, managing principal at the Quadrangle Group, argues in today’s Wall Street Journal that “income inequality has become the next global warming”. By this he means that widening inequality will become a big election issue in America. Evidently the Democrats are slowing moving to capitalise on the question. The misunderstandings in the inequality discussion will be a central feature of this website and in my book.
